• Asharqia Chamber and Saudi Exports are concluding the program of the development of exporters

    On Thursday, November 8, 2018, Asharqia Chamber, in cooperation with the Saudi Export Development Authority, concluded the program for the development of exporters with the participation of representatives of Saudi exporting companies, which continued throughout the past week for 6 hours a day and 14 workshops.

    It ended with the presentation of export plans for several products as a practical application of the training of the participants.

    The participants valued the positive impact of the program, as they were considering it as a best practice and tools that helped them develop their skills and raise their awareness of export regulations and procedures.

    The program comes within the framework of the close cooperation between Asharqia Chamber and the General Authority for Exports and the continuation of their efforts to contribute to the translation of the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, which aimed at increasing Saudi non-oil exports and diversifying sources of income for the national economy.

    The Authority implements a package of activities and programs to promote the national export system by raising the level and readiness of export to enterprises and develop the capabilities of exporters through modern training programs and workshops.

     

    For his part, Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, the representative of the Export Development Authority, said that the Export Development Program comes within the framework of development programs in the field of export, and it has been prepared to meet the needs of Saudi exporting companies.

    He pointed out that during the week the program dealt with the most important topics related to export operations, such as the establishment of export facilities and transactions with the relevant entities in the export environment, as well as raising the ability to conduct marketing research and assist in the preparation of export strategies and plans to foreign markets, and the information resources.

    The participants also learned about the methods of extracting export certificates and customs requirements, as well as financing, insurance and insurance solutions, export steps and procedures, supply chain management methods, quality control requirements, sales contracts in international trade, means of payment and documentary credits.

    It is worth mentioning that Saudi exports employ all their capabilities to improve the efficiency of the export environment, develop export capabilities, promote exporters and their products, create export opportunities for them, promote Saudi products in international markets, and increase their competitive quality to achieve their access to international markets through reflecting the status and quality of the Saudi product in order to be an extension of the national economy.​
